Why choose WEME and why be part of our network?
Everyone has a dream. Or wish they had. I have always had many and I have never stopped pursuing each one of them. From an early age, I knew that instruction, that education, that knowledge were powerful tools to achieve my goals. A graduation later, several specializations and courses later, 20 years of professional experience later, of which 7 in the private sector, 7 in the government, 4 in a NGO, 4 in international organisations and 7 languages later (Phew!) I realized that my experience, both nationally and internationally could be useful for other people.
The “field work”, as a lecturer in seminars throughout Brazil and then as an expert and advocate for consumer rights acting as an international consultant, I had the opportunity to meet incredible people and their incredible stories! This experience of studying working in different countries, in addition to being an objective pursued since always, contributed enormously to the construction of my knowledge and expertise as well as to the inspiration in the creation of WEME, Women Entrepreneurs.
Each language is a portal to a new culture, to a new world. This has always fascinated me and has built up a considerable part of my experience and knowledge. It is exactly the content of the experiences in these “different worlds” that I want to share with you so that you can also open the doors of these new worlds and opportunities. It is exactly the cooperation I learned to coin in Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East that I want to replicate in building a network of Women Entrepreneurs.
And who are these women entrepreneurs?
They are women who like you and me believe in a cause, defend an idea, a service or a product. They are women who undertake incredible journeys, taking care of other women, being an example, inspiring, collaborating. The entrepreneur woman WEME is much more than a businesswoman, she is a mother, she is an employee, administrator, housewife, creator, therapist, historian, teacher, encourager. We are experiencing challenging times for humanity. We are lacking awareness, empathy and cooperation. We can't wait any longer. The time to cooperate is now, the time to take action is now.
